I must shamefully admit that I never paid much attention to the indie world or the arts until I opened my own business last May. I was inspired to start my own business selling arts/crafts after two of my friends opened stores on Etsy. My love of the arts continues to grow, and I am so proud to be a part of the rapidly growing indie movement. Quite a few of my customers discovered my online boutique after reading about me on other blogs and indie sites (including The Indie Path). With this blog, I hope to return the favor and shine the spotlight on others who have successfully maintained their own businesses.
